Recently, the innovative product Degradable Magnesium Closing Clip of Suzhou Origin Medical Technology Co., Ltd. was approved by China NMPA.

　　This product consists of a degradable magnesium closing clip and a base. The magnesium closing clip includes three parts, the upper arm, the lower arm and a tail O-structure, which are placed in the base. Among them, the degradable magnesium closing clip is made of high-purity magnesium material, which can avoid the potential risks of aluminum, rare earth and other elements commonly used in the existing magnesium alloy products to human health. And its implantation does not affect the postoperative imaging diagnosis, such as X-ray, CT, and nuclear magnetic resonance etc. Through plastic deformation and the regulation of heat treatment technology, the mechanical properties of high-purity magnesium metal are enhanced, and the stability and reliability of the closing clip are improved.

　　The product is intended for the ligation and closure of tubular tissues such as blood vessel or bile duct, which do not require permanent closure force in surgical operation and it is not applicable to main artery and large vein. The marketing of this product will provide more options for clinical treatment.
